I’m thrilled to teach AP Psychology this year at Aim Academy Online! After a rewarding 32-year career teaching all levels of science in the public school system, I’m excited to bring that experience into a new setting where I can continue helping students grow and succeed.
Over the years, I’ve received training from respected organizations such as the College Board, NMSI (National Math and Science Initiative), PLTW (Project Lead The Way), and NCCSTS (National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science). I’ve also been honored with several teaching awards, but what matters most to me is seeing my students achieve their goals—many of whom have gone on to become nurses, doctors, teachers, and professionals in a wide variety of fields.

Though I’ve officially retired from the public school classroom, I’m not done teaching! I’m passionate about preparing students for bright futures, and I strongly believe in using data to drive instruction. I’ll help students analyze their own learning data to strengthen study habits and improve performance—skills that will benefit them far beyond this course.
I earned my bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991. After spending a year in the business world, I pursued a master’s equivalency and intern certification from Susquehanna University. While teaching full-time, I also raised four wonderful children—three are currently in college, and my youngest is in high school.
I can’t wait to dive into this journey with AAO students and help them discover just how fascinating and relevant psychology can be.
