I love every topic covered in Biology! The microscopic world is fascinating, and it is one that we are only beginning to understand. Plants are essential to life on Earth, and a knowledge of their structure helps us understand how they can give us both food and oxygen. The diversity of the animal kingdom is awe-inspiring. I think human biology is the most important science subject, because it is the one that we carry around with us every minute of our lives! And our knowledge of human biology is always changing, so there is no end to the things you can learn about the way your body works!

My favorite topic in Zoology is amphibians. There aren’t very many of them, especially compared to insects and other arthropods, but frogs are just so cute! I am fascinated by their complex life cycle and the many mechanisms they use to defend themselves against predators.

Plants are amazing, and human biology has always been my favorite subject. My favorite thing about Marine Science is learning about the animals that inhabit the sea. There are so many of them, and they are so varied and unique and exciting, and perfectly formed to live in the underwater world!

My favorite topics in The Wonders of Water are definitely cohesion, adhesion and surface tension. There are so many fun experiments that can be done using these fun properties of water. From holding hands and letting go, to playing with soap bubbles, to watching cinnamon zoom across a bowl of water to watching soap and food coloring create beautiful patterns on a bowl of milk, the properties of cohesion, adhesion and surface tension give lots of opportunities for hands-on learning!
